For apps built with Lovable, Cursor, v0, Replit & Bolt

From AI-built prototype to a platform you own.

You built something real with AI tools. Now make it production-ready, secure, and truly yours — and keep it that way. Pulsewatch Dev takes your prototype the last mile to a platform your business can run on, with full ownership and no lock-in.

Ownership-first. You own all the code. No lock-in. Walk away any time. Proven on real, in-use businesses.
The prototype-to-production gap

Your app works in the demo. But can you run your business on it?

AI builders let you ship fast — but what comes out is a prototype, not a production system. The gaps are invisible until something breaks. These are the ones we see almost every time.

No real security

Loose authentication, exposed secrets, and access handled in accounts you don't fully control.

No engineering discipline

No testing, CI/CD, monitoring, or backups — every release is risky and breakage is hard to diagnose.

Ownership ambiguity

Code, infrastructure, and even your customer data may live in someone else's accounts.

Architectural dead ends

Keep adding features through the AI tool and it eventually collapses under its own weight.

You're stuck between "it works in the demo" and "I can run my business on this" — and a full-time engineer isn't the answer. That's exactly the gap we close.

The Production Path

Four clear steps. Stop after any of them.

A staged path from prototype to owned platform. Each step is a standalone engagement with its own deliverable — so you're never locked into the next one.

1
Assess

Understand it

An honest technical assessment of what you have, the risks, what's missing — and a phased roadmap.

Deliverable: a board-ready report.
2
Build

Make it real

Build the API, auth, infrastructure, testing, and deployment it lacks — or rebuild cleanly where that's the better call.

Deliverable: a production platform.
3
Own

Take ownership

Code, repos, infrastructure, credentials, and documentation — all handed over, all under your control.

Deliverable: everything, in your name.
4
Maintain

Keep it healthy

An ongoing monthly partnership so new features keep following sound architecture and security.

Deliverable: continuous support.
Services & engagement

Productized, transparent, and built around you owning it.

Start small with a fixed-fee assessment. Move into a build only if it makes sense. Keep us on monthly only if you want to.

  • API, auth, infrastructure & CI/CD
  • Testing, environments & monitoring
  • Clean rebuild on a modern stack when needed
  • Data migration & parallel-run cutover
  • Every phase estimated & approved up front

Care Plans

Monthly retainer · starting at $1,200/mo
  • Ongoing architecture & security reviews
  • Code review & hands-on feature work

Third-party and hosting costs run through your own accounts, paid by you at cost. We bill for labor only.

Why Pulsewatch

Ownership-first isn't a slogan. It's the contract.

  • You own everything on payment

Code, repositories, infrastructure, and documentation — all yours, in your accounts.

  • No lock-in, ever

No proprietary traps. Walk away any time, owing only for work already performed.

  • We never hold your code hostage

No withholding of code or credentials during a disagreement. Your business keeps running.

  • We use AI too — and know its limits

We use the same tools you do to move fast, which is why we know exactly where they fall short.

"The client owns everything, we never lock them in, and they can walk away at any time owing only for work performed."
— The core promise behind every Pulsewatch engagement
Proof it works

Levco: from a breaking dependency to a platform they own.

Levco — an HVAC service and heating-oil delivery business — built a new front end with AI tools to replace an in-house system that had been spun off to an outside developer who kept changing it for other customers and breaking Levco's workflows.

Pulsewatch ran the assessment, delivered a board-ready report and a full teardown of the third-party system, then scoped a from-scratch, Levco-owned platform that reproduces what they use, migrates their data, runs in parallel to prove parity, and cuts over cleanly — with a monthly care plan to follow.

Assess → rebuild & secure → own → maintain — one clean commercial arc, every stage producing something Levco keeps.

About

An engineering partner, not a full-time hire.

Pulsewatch Dev is a specialist engineering practice for one specific moment: when an app built with AI tools needs to become a real, secure platform the business owns. We meet owners where they are — no shaming the prototype — and take it the rest of the way.

We bring senior engineering judgment, a productized and repeatable process, and unusually client-favorable terms. We use AI tooling in our own delivery to move fast and keep costs down, so you get production-grade work without a production-grade payroll.

If your prototype has outgrown the tool that built it, that's exactly what we do.

Get started

Start with an honest assessment.

Tell us a little about your app. We'll reply to set up a short call and, if it's a fit, send a fixed-fee assessment proposal. No pressure, no lock-in.

  • A fixed-fee, time-boxed review — you know the cost up front.
  • A board-ready report and a phased roadmap you keep.
  • Worth the fee even if you never hire us again.
  • No obligation to move into a build.
